La Très Sainte Trinosophie

The Count de Saint-Germain is an interesting character, along with this 18th c. occult tome.

i arrived via this post and the relevant links are in there along with context, to save re-writing.

BibliOdyssey is well worth a good look around for other little gems like this

  1. This opens up a whole other world I'd love to track from Century's beginning to end-!

I wonder if we can find some original texts in English--a 19th Century occult reader would be awesome....

Two other 18th Century occultists occurred to me:

Court de Gébelin (one of the first people to deeply investigate/interpret the Tarot): http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Antoine_Court_de_G%C3%A9belin

    and Cagliostro:

The 'Affair of the Diamond Necklace' appears as a plot or reference really often in the early 19th Century.
